The Argos Top Christmas Toy list for 2013

The giant retailer Argos has revealed their predictions for the top selling toys for this Christmas season. The most recent versions of some classic toys like Lego and Monopoly are expected to be bestsellers. Others include the yet to be released Furby Boom as well as other hi-tech gadgets like the LeapFrog LeapPad.

Even though Christmas is still a few months away, we don’t want you to end up in a midnight queue while trying to get one of these toys for your kids (or yourself). So, to help you to be fully prepared to get the best Christmas gift for your kids and the entire family, here is the Argos Top Toys 2013 list.

Lego Friends Dolphin Cruiser

This is a fusion of the back to the future concept - the old star wars movies and the exciting Lego game. The LeapPad Ultra is the ultra version of the well known leapPad hi-tech toy. It allows kids to write, draw and play electronic games on a 7-inch HD screen. It has a front and back camera. It is equipped with Wi-Fi that can be used to download games.

Sesame Street Elmo Hugs

Here comes the lovely Sesame Street character – Elmo. This puppet has mechanically controlled arms that can hug you firmly. He can also say a couple of sweet loving words and sing a lullaby to you before you go to bed. He can be programmed to go into sleep mode while you sleep and sing a sweet tune when you wake up.

Teksta is a little cute robotic dog. Designed in blue (male) and pink (female). These puppies are designed to behave exactly like living puppies. They will instantly respond to your call, a wave and sound as well as a ray of light. They have the ability to cry, bark, whimper and back-flip. They are programmable and so they can be made to fall asleep. This is one cute puppy.

FFurby Boomurby Boom

The newest version of this owl-like toy can be connected to your laptop, iphone, ipad or Android device. Furby Boom can now give birth when connected. Your kids will now be able to use their laptop or smart-phones to take of Furby. She will be available in several colorful shades from October 2013.

Nerf Elite Rapidstrike CS – 18

If you like toy guns, you will easily admire the colorful Rapidstrike gun made by Nerf. It has a transparent cartridge that can be loaded with blue plastic rubber bullets. It’s big and it has a fairly wide range. This toy gun is a very nice gift to introduce your teenager to the art of shooting.

Planes Wing Control Dusty

This plane would be loved by children because of the innovative remote control wings. The wings are worn on the child’s wrist and then used to control the movement of the toy plane. As your kids move their hands to mimic the actual motion of a plane, the plane will also move in the exact manner. It also has nice sound effects. This plane made the Argos top toys 2013 list, although it will be released in October 2013.

Monopoly Empire

The classic Monopoly board game has undergone a lot of transformation. The former streets are now popular brands like Coca Cola, McDonalds, Sears etc. Instead of the traditional houses, you now need to build up billboards. This interesting new version of the famous game is aimed at the younger generation as well as us oldies as well.
